Hi Everyone! Dina Wakley has a new monthly 'Gratitude' challenge on the RangerInk blog, and this month it's being grateful for small things. As you can see on my page, I'm grateful for a good journaling pen. I just bought some Uniball Gel Impact pens, which seem really good on my painty gel print page.
I'm also linking my page to Erika's Polkadots, Stripes, Plaids or Patterns theme at Art Journal Journey.
Wishing you all a happy Wednesday,
Alison xox

ReplyDeleteWow, you are having a busy week! Your Gratitude page is beautiful and I like the sound of those new gel pens, I'll have to look them up 😁. I hope you are having a lovely week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteHow clever, Alison. It's a beautiful Gratitude page and I look forward to seeing what you create in the months ahead. Seems these gel pens will work well for you and they are small, yet important things to be grateful for. This is also a fabulous page that is perfect for Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.
ReplyDeleteThat pen sure works great.I am always looking for a good pen too. (Especially white, good brands are hard to find.) Love your grateful page and the cool patterns, dots, hearts, and art. Thanks for joining up at Art Journal Journey Alison. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGratitude entries are always worthy. And beautiful. ::nods::
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours here, Alison - I love that doodled script framing the grid, and lovely burlap background. I'm always looking for a good pen to work over paint, but mainly it's white that I'm after. They seem to work for a while and then give up the ghost...

I like your colors and those sweet gratitude hearts. Our small mercies are the ones we're often most grateful for in life, I think :)
ReplyDeleteA Gorgeous gratitude page, it was good to read about the pens you used. I am still on the hunt for a one that does keep working on painted layers, they seem to clog easily..

Love the colours on your page Alison, great pattern too, and thanks for the tip about the pens. Always worth knowing what writes on paint. I love an enabler, seriously.
