Tea and Friendship

Morning Everyone! We had a deluge of rain yesterday, which has cooled things down thankfully, but today has started with sunshine and a cloudless sky, it's beautiful!

At my crochet group yesterday, we were celebrating the birthday of our dear friend Jan, and here is the card I made for her. She loves tea, and also sings, so I used some teabags, music sheet, and found some old tea and friendship stamps by Lindy's Stamp Gang. The base is a gelli-print.

Happy Saturday!

  2. Wow, Alison. That card speaks to me. I love it. I was really impressed with the tea pot and the cups and saucers. They are a bit funky and fun. I love how you use different colored tea bags, too.

I know you offered to send me some used tea bags, but I hate to have you pay postage to send them to me. Since I know you have a supply of them, I will pass for now, but may take you up on the offer sometime in the future. Thanks so much for the offer.

  6. This is a fabulous card Alison with the clever addition of those Teabags in the background almost like one of those magic eye pictures as I nearly missed them. Love that sentiment..!
Found a bag full of used teabags last week reminded me of you straight away.

I'd hoped the clear skies would last here so as to see the meteor shower over the weekend but it wasn't to be :(
