Happy Sunday Everyone!
Although I love to spend time with family and friends, one thing I also enjoy is a bit of time alone for reflection, making art, reading, and sitting in the garden watching the birds. So here is an abstract page I created for Elizabeth's Count Your Blessings Challenge at Art Journal Journey. I used PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylic paints, tea stained book page, and Seth Apter stencils for the words.
Thanks for visiting,

fabulous page, Alison!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this, I thought how much it resembled the sentiment. Time alone, reflective time, and what colors put you in that mode better than sepia and blue. This is a fabulous and moody journal page, Alison. I am blessed that you chose to share it with us today at Art Journal Journey. Thank you SO much for your continued support of my theme.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous page Alison, super colours and a real artsy design. I agree that it is good to have some alone time especially if its crafty time as well.

Love how the colours control those words Alison, i'm with you totally on this again. It's heart hugging to have those close and dear with us, spending time together but we all need a little time to ourselves even if for a moment.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the quiet times!!
Hugs for a smashing week ahead Tracey xx
This looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love this colour combination! This is a truly wonderful page and good reason to count your blessings - a little quiet time is always good occasionally! I have finally got around to catching up and enjoying a quieter time for a while myself! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I don't want to be alone 24-7, but it is good to have some me time. You got that feeling on your page. Loving the blue and brown. Super page Alison. HHugs-Erika

Yum, yum, yum. You probably don't need telling that I love this page spread - the colours, the repeated circles, the layers and detail - I love it. (There, I said it anyway.)
