AJJ - Grow

Hello Folks. I created another page today for Jo's Flora & Fauna challenge at Art Journal Journey.

This page had everything thrown at it! Collage, stamping, stencilling with Grunge Paste, teabags, metallic paint, Infusions, and splatters.

Hope you're all having a lovely day! I'm off to vote in the local elections. I often feel that it's a waste of time, as the same party always get elected unfortunately, but as the women's vote was so hard won, I always go anyway.

  2. Wow, there is so much amazing detail on this page! I love the grunge style you created by throwing everything at it ...lol 😉...and the stencilled grunge paste leaves over the teabags and butterflies look fabulous! Have fun voting and thanks so much for joining us at Art Journal Journey again! J 😊 x

  4. "Grow" is a good reminder, and your page embodies the idea somehow with the varied elements coming together in a coherent whole. Nice!

I voted in our local primary on 5/1 also. I had some candidates I was supporting, and some won and some lost. I'm happy enough with the ones who won, though, to be able to support them wholeheartedly in the general election. Tennessee put the women's vote over the top and my grandmother already had 3 kids when she was first allowed to vote, so I take voting seriously.

  7. This journal page is fabulous, Alison. I love the way you used the tea bags, and the various colors you chose for Jo's theme at Art Journal Journey. There are so many details, I had to look twice to appreciate its true beauty. Thanks for sharing it at AJJ today.

My state primaries aren't until August, but I always vote, so I applaud you.

  15. This is marvellous. It is like a Universe all of its own. And I've just looked up to see Susi's remark about it being out of this world. That's pretty clever how you use the teabags.
