Junk Journal Pages

 Hello All.

I thought I'd shared a few more pages from my junk journal.

This one started with a word stamp that I carved, then grew into a wonky mandala.

I used a round paint brush and watercolour paint to create the leafy stems on this next page.

On the next page, I traced around some metal letters then painted them with watercolour paint.

And finally, a page for Bleubeard & Elizabeth's Recycle, Re-use & Re-purpose theme at Art Journal Journal, on which I used an old piece of stencilled fabric and some book text. I used the metal heart clip to stamp the spirals.

Thanks for visiting,

Alison

Hi Alison, I hope you've been keeping well. wow, you have created some lovely art, I was just looking through to see what I've missed and I adore your feather page and the big white flower page that you created in March - so beautiful. I'm loving your pages today too, you always provide so much inspiration, those watercoloured leaves look amazing 😊. Thanks so much for all your kind comments on my blog posts and wishing you a wonderful April! Hugs, Jo x

  5. What fun and wonderful pages you created. Those leaves you drew are amazing. Gotta love that carved stamp you used, too. It took me a minute to understand the A E I O U. Sometimes I'm a bit slow!

Of course, the entry you created for Bleubeard's and my theme was phenomenal. I love the beautiful background, the recycled layers, and the way you attached the heart clip. What a fabulous entry you gave us for Art Journal Journey, dear Alison.

  8. Delightfully visual variety of pages. Love the traced letters idea. Such a common generic technique but one that I easily forget when brainstorming. XOX

  9. Hi again Alison! What a wonderful group of pages you have created! I love them all - each is so creative in its' own way! The water colored leaves look amazing and your "aeiou" page is so creative and beautiful. I especially like the page you created for AJJ! The stenciled fabric looks amazing against the brightly colored, stamped background. And I am in awe of the stamped spirals and the way you attached the spiral heart clip - such creative techniques! I want to thank you so much for your comments left on my blog. Hugs, Sharon

  12. So creative - love them all (especially your handmade stamp and the stamping with that swirls on the heart). All of this is so creative and you tied everything together so well with your paint and other details. I always forget about fabric - note to self! Hugz
