An incomplete Story

 Hi Everyone.

I have another page to share for Elle's Tell Me A Story theme at Art Journal Journey

I chose some text from a book called 'What to do when someone dies' by Nicci French. I use text from this book on a lot of my projects, although I'm ashamed to say that I never actually read the book.

I probably should have found an image to use on my page, but lately I'm struggling with my art motivation. I had fun using up some of my collage fodder. I hope the page is ok for the theme.

Thanks for visiting,

Alison

  1. Sorry to hear you're struggling with art motivation Alison. I would never guess that from your page. Using your collage fodder the way you did makes an excellent page. Thanks for sharing this over at AJJ for Elle's challenge. hugs-Erika

  2. The texts that you used for your pages are always very intriguing. Another very beautiful page, Alison! Wonderful shapes, textures and colours, makes me think of a restaurant or cafe. I am sorry to hear you are struggling with motivation. I get those too, but if I make myself sit down and just play with whatever is at hand, I end up having fun and actually get some of that motivation back. Hope to see more of your artwork soon.

  5. Great page Alison, and glad you got your motivation back. I know what you mean about motivation, sometimes I wonder why and how and what for (social media doesn't help lol). Nice to use up some collage fodder though isn't it. I did a bit of that today, I get sick of seeing mountains of stuff cluttering up my room and yet not using it either, so I made an effort to use some of it today on some future projects.

  6. I LOVE this. Sorry you have no art motivation, but maybe next month you will feel better. It's a great entry and I simply adore your use of collage fodder. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Elle's theme.

  7. Wonderful page and all that collage fodder looks fabulous together, especially those teabags 😊. Hope your art motivation comes back soon, I love your creations! How about making something smaller and different to your norm, maybe a tag and joining me at Country View Challenge! Take care and sending hugs Jo x
