Hello Everyone.
I have another page to share for Elle's Tell Me A Story theme at Art Journal Journey. It's just a little story that I made up, so I hope it qualifies.
The fear gripped her as she hid from the evil landlord. She had no money for rent this week. She had spent it on new shoes and champagne!
Thanks for visiting,
Alison
Very cool blog-background!
ReplyDeleteI had such a colleague.
And really. Maybe that is even clever. If you don´t have anything, they can´t take anything (but the shoes).
The man looks evil indeed!
Such a fun story and how wonderful to spend your money on new shoes and champagne 😊. Loving how you incorporated then images, such fun! I hope you're having a lovely week! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteWell, new shoes and champagne - sounds good to me! lol Love your page today Alison, great background and story and doesn't that guy just look like an evil landlord! I like what Iris said if you don't have anything they can't take it, so why not spend it on champagne and shoes! Thanks for joining me for the October theme at Art Journal Journey this month Elle/Empire of the Cat xx
ReplyDeleteOh that is a great story. Especially since her landlord doesn't look all too nice. It's a great page, and I'm glad you could join us for AJJ and Elle's challenge. Hope all is well. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYou took us to the 1920's I think. Hope she got solution to problems 😉
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought she was chained up and it reminded me of an old film but then I looked closer and realised she was hiding from the landlord. What a great idea and what a super way to illustrate your story. love the background.
ReplyDeletehugs, Neet xx
Sorry that I couldn't comment, I can now write to you with detours.

I loved your take on this theme, Alison. It reminded me of films I have seen from the 1940s. The evil landlord and the fearful tenant. Of course the tenant usually doesn't have money to buy shoes and champagne. This was a fun and unique look at Elle's theme at Art Journal Journey.
