Playtime

I found time for some more art play in my journal this week 😊

I used some collage fodder for the base, and scraped white paint over the top. I used lids to stamp black paint circles, and painted them orange and magenta. I added some Dina Wakley tissue images, black watercolour pencil scribbles, and white ink splatters.

Happy weekend everyone,

Alison

An incomplete Story

 Hi Everyone.

I have another page to share for Elle's Tell Me A Story theme at Art Journal Journey

I chose some text from a book called 'What to do when someone dies' by Nicci French. I use text from this book on a lot of my projects, although I'm ashamed to say that I never actually read the book.

I probably should have found an image to use on my page, but lately I'm struggling with my art motivation. I had fun using up some of my collage fodder. I hope the page is ok for the theme.

AJJ - Tell Me A Story

 Hello Everyone.

I have another page to share for Elle's Tell Me A Story theme at Art Journal Journey. It's just a little story that I made up, so I hope it qualifies.

The fear gripped her as she hid from the evil landlord. She had no money for rent this week. She had spent it on new shoes and champagne!

October Art Journal Calendar

 Hi Everyone.

I haven't seemed to have had time to create art lately, what with my walking groups and lots of reading. But today I had a free day, and I spent it in my art room, creating my October calendar.

Over at Art Journal Journey, October's host Elle has chosen the theme of Fairytales, Folklore and Fables - Tell Me A Story. I've used the story of Alice In Wonderland as the theme for my calendar.

Now to fill in the first six squares. I've been making notes of my daily doings so far this month, so it will be easy to remember what happened last weekend. 😆

Before I go, here is my September calendar all filled in.

Thanks for visiting,

Alison
