AJJ - When It's Hot
Hi Everyone! I have another page to share for Erika's When It's Hot theme at Art Journal Journey. For some reason, new Blogger's linking isn't working, so here's the link to the challenge (hopefully!): https://art-journal-journey.blogspot.com/2020/07/when-its-hot.html

366 Somethings - Week 30
Hi Everyone. I'm back today with my collaged ICADs for Week 29 of the 366 Somethings Challenge. They are also nos. 52-58/61 of Daisy Yellow's ICAD 2020.
208 is my favourite this week. The black blob on the left started off as a flower, but then I let it drip, adding more ink to create more drips. Do you have a favourite?
Thanks so much for visiting, and thanks for your concern about my back, it's a lot better, but I'm being careful now. No heavy lifting of tortoise boxes!

AJJ - When It's Hot
Hello Folks!
This art journal page for Erika's When It's Hot theme at Art Journal Journey is an altered magazine image. Playtime in the Jungle is, to my mind, a father playing make believe in the garden with his children, on a hot summer's day.
Hope you all had a great weekend, thanks for visiting,
Alison xx

366 Somethings - Week 29
Hi Everyone!
I forgot to do this yesterday, but I'm here today with my week 29 collaged index cards. I can't seem to get motivated to do anything else, so at least I have these little collages to keep me creating something. My back is still playing up, I think that has something to do with it 😣
I think my favourites this week are 198 and 199, but I did enjoy stitching all over 203, and I love the found text on 200. That was from a Jilly Cooper book 'How to survive Work and Wedlock'. I loved her little modern romance novels, 'Emily' and 'Harriet' etc., not so modern now!
Happy mid-week, hope you're having a good one!

366 Somethings - Week 28
Hello Everyone. I'm sharing this last week's index card collages with you today.
Hard to choose a favourite this week, but it's closely between 190 and 195. I hope you enjoy the found texts too, most were from Pride and Prejudice. Do you have a favourite card?
I will try and visit some blogs this week, I did my back in on Sunday though, and having trouble sitting at my computer. I'm doing this standing. Time for another lie down!
Thanks for popping by,

AJJ - When It's Hot
Hi Everyone!
I made a page for Erika's When It's Hot theme at Art Journal Journey.
I don't like too much sun, so when it's hot I either stay indoors, or I find some cool shade. Those inky circles and drips are meant to represent trees, and I used an old credit card to create the long grass 😄
Thanks for dropping by,

366 Somethings - Week 27
Hi Everyone! I hope you're all keeping safe and well.
Here are my collaged index cards for week 27.
And I thought you might like to see them all in their box. It's nearly full so I need to start looking for another.

July 2020 Art Journal Calendar
Hi Everyone!
The second half of 2020 has begun, and I have my July art journal calendar pages to share with you today.
I created the background using my 3x5inch gelli plate direct onto my page, with PaperArtsy Fresco acrylics and a PaperArtsy mask. Then I used PaperArtsy stencils to add my journaling flowers and the title.
After outlining everything, and adding the day numbers and pink paint splashes, I went a bit dotty!
Happy July!
