I needed to create some new home cards last week, so I pulled out some of my handy gel plate prints, and created some paper pieced and doodled houses.
This first one is for our son, who just moved flats in Manchester, to be nearer to his work. Three windows because he's sharing with a couple of guys from work. Not sure who is living in the attic!
This one's for our daughter, who is doing a 4 month placement for Rolls Royce in Friedrichshafen in Germany. Her flat is by Lake Konstance, and she's loving it there. We're going out to visit next month, and can't wait.
And this final one is for my husband's cousin & hubby, who have moved from Berkshire to Somerset, to be nearer their daughter and grandchildren.
Happy weekend to you all,
Alison xox

These are absolutely adorable, Alison. Something that struck me when I was reading about your daughter was how easy it is to travel in Europe. We go from state to state like you go from country to country. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteBTW. I agree with Yvonne that they fit the people they were made for, which makes these cards even more special.
Wonderful cards Ali. Perfect for the occasion! So nice to hear Gordon and Beth are doing so well. Hugs Flo xx
ReplyDeleteThese three are tremendous, Alison, well worthy of being framed by the recipients.
ReplyDeleteI tried to choose a favourite but I really like each of them very much.

Oh no - ghosts in the attic! Or worse, maybe Christopher Eccleston spying on you through holes he's drilled in your ceilings (did you see the genius Shallow Grave film in the 1990s?)! I digress... Great cards all three - I love those cute little houses, and they're delightfully colourful.
