Tower Bridge Collage

Hi Everyone! I'm back today with another collage page for my Recycle and Collage challenge at Art Journal Journey. It features a picture of the building of Tower Bridge, which is my favourite bridge in London. I see it from my train every time I travel up to town. It's so pretty with its blue and gold towers, like a fairytale castle.

The bridge photo came from an old Civil Engineering magazine my husband was throwing out, and I collaged other parts of the magazine with music paper, printed tissue and teabags. I scraped some DecoArt Crackle Paste over the collage, and when this was dry, I added stencilling, splatters and journaling.

Wishing you a creative weekend,

Alison xox

  8. It's amazing to see the Tower Bridge as it was being built, because I have only seen it in movies or on TV. It's a lovely journal page. I have never had good luck with crackle paste, and the kind I bought was already dried up before I ever opened it. Your use of it was stunning. So glad you chose this page to share with others at Art Journal Journey, dear.
