Try It On Tuesday - Make It Masculine

 Hello All.

I'm so thrilled to be this fortnight's guest designer at Try It On Tuesday, with the fabulous theme 'Make It Masculine'.

Here's my card art for the challenge. I used some Carabelle Studio stamps, and fluorescent pink acrylic ink to add colour.

A bit of collage fodder, a flower sketched with a Stabilo All pencil, then spritzed with water to activate. Some found book text to finish.

 Hello friends.

Here's another junk journal page for Aimeslee's Flower theme on Art Journal Journey.

I started with some collage fodder, added some paint, some stencilled paste, a bit of stamping with one of my hand-carved stamps, a watercolour and doodled flower, some corrugated card and a sentiment. I used my Dymo for the word 'CENTRES' as I wanted the English spelling.

It's The Birthday Month

 I have a few family and friends' birthday in May, including my own, and also my wedding anniversary, it's a busy month.

I made two similar cards for our mums, who share the same birthday.

And here's the card I made for my husband.

Hopefully I'll find some art journaling time soon.

Another week has flown past with no blog posts! The weather has been good, and I've been getting out for some lovely Spring walks.

 Hello All. 

I have a junk journal page to share for Aimeslee's Flower theme at Art Journal Journey.

 It's a singing flower! I used a make up sponge dipped in black acrylic paint to create the petals and leaves. There are some pieces of teabag paper if you can spot them, and numbers that were stencilled on tissue paper. The background page was a mono-print. 

I only sing loudly when I'm on my own, usually listening to music in the car 😂 I haven't got much of a singing voice!
