Daisy Yellow Index Card A Day Challenge - Week Two

 Hello All.

I know I said I would post these on Mondays, but here they are, just a couple of days late.

Life has been getting in the way of art lately. We just had a tiring but lovely, long weekend at our daughter's new home, the ground floor flat of a Victorian house, helping her to get the garden in a fit shape for a summer of parties and BBQs. It was lovely to visit Bristol finally, she's been living there over two years now. It's a beautiful city, and she loves it.

So here are my week two ICADs.

Day 7 - I actually used the prompt, which was 'ROOT'.

I'm enjoying doing some collage art again, hope you enjoy seeing them 😊

I Love Paying Bills!

 Hi Everyone!

Gratitude Junk Journal's 'reason' for Day 16 was gratitude for paying bills. A strange one you might think, but I'm grateful that I always have the funds to pay any bills I need to, and I don't have any money worries.

Here's my page. I collaged some old invoices as my first layer. That saved shredding a few 😁

I'm linking my art to Leah's Art Every Day Month challenge Day 21.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

Thanks for visiting.

Rachel Greig's Artful August Challenge

 Hi Everyone.

I've found another Instagram challenge, to keep me arting after ICAD finished. Rachel Greig's Artful August Challenge has daily prompts, but you can choose what you want to make. I'm going to try and do daily 15 minute art journal pages. I quite like the time limit, and it means I can create something even when I don't have a lot of time. I've also created a junk journal just for the challenge, using a cardboard packaging cover, adding my pages with pamphlet stitch.

Rachel's prompt for Day 1 is Leaves. Here's my 15 minute page. I used collage, acrylic paint, black india ink, Stabilo Woodys, and book page text.

I'm linking my page to Neet's Type theme at Art Journal Journey.

Before I go, here are photos of my complete set of ICADs for Daisy Yellow's 2021 challenge.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you have a happy August and new week.
