February Journal Recipe Day 16

 Hi Everyone.

I'm back today with my Day 16 page for my February Journal Recipe collaboration on Instagram.

Today's prompts are...

Colour - Copper

Shape - Star

Technique 1 - Apply paint and scribble in it with a pencil

Technique 2 - Add some white marks

The page started with collage of book pages and teabags, then my favourite Prussian Blue acrylic paint, applied with my finger. I added the focal round teabag with that sweet little Tim Holtz Paper Doll. The stars are stencilled with metallic copper acrylic, and I used a white Posca pen to outline and add dots.

I'm linking my page to Elizabeth and Bleubeard's What's Your Style theme at Art Journal Journey.

Thanks for all your lovely comments, I really appreciate them.

Hugs,

Alison

GJJ - Days 29 & 30

 Hello All.

Here are my final two pages for Gratitude Junk Journal.

Day 29 - Gratitude for Doodles with Sandy Allnock.

For this spread I used watercolour paint, graphite and Stabilo All black pencils, and a black pen.

I got very engrossed in making all of the lines and marks. It was a very calming exercise.

Day 30 - Gratitude for Courage with Janette Simmons.

Gel-printing, collage, stencilling, lots of layers, mixed media - This was my kind of art!

Thanks so much to all of you who followed my Gratitude Junk Journal journey. I really enjoyed Tiare Smith's course.

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

Alison
