 Here's another quick post with a few Christmas cards I've made this year.

November Art Journal Calendar

 Hello Everyone. 

It's a new month, and here is my November art journal calendar.

A layer of collage with light blue paint scraped over it. Some paint drips in a darker blue, and stencilled splats. I finished with the stamped title, using PaperArtsy stamps, and the umbrella girl, an Art Journey stamp, and some paint splashes and a dotty edging.

I'm linking up to Chris' All Kinds Of Weather theme at Art Journal Journey, and to Leah's Art Every Day Month challenge Day 2. I missed AEDM Day 1, as usual I forgot! But I did make some Christmas cards yesterday, which I'll try and share tomorrow. 

Here's my October calendar all filled in.

GelliArts March Printing Challenge - 18-23

Hello All.

I have a few more gel prints to share with you today. As usual, the daily themes are top left of each photo.

 

Those hand-carved stamps have been useful again. I carved the 'love is' right way round to work with my gel plate, and I need to do one wrong way round to stamp with.

Art Journey Challenge - Resist

Hello Everyone!

It's been a while since I joined in with the Art Journey Design Team Challenge, but I came upon it by chance and thought I'd give Corinne's Resist theme a go.

I began by clear embossing the text block from Art Journey Umbrella Girl stamp set. I then used PaperArtsy Infusions A Bit Jaded to add some colour. The embossed text resisted the colour. I stamped the umbrella girl, cut her out and glued her in place, then stamped the Dreams phrase from AJ Noel stamp set beneath her. I finished with some scribbly black pen lines around the edges, then attached to a kraft card blank.

New Babies

Hi Everyone! Sunday past was a momentous day, with two new baby boys born! One to my husband's cousin's daughter, and one to my best friend's daughter. I decided to save time and make two of the same card. Congrats to Philippa, James, Olivia and baby Harvey, and to Kat, Luca and baby Thomas!

The cute baby, bees and flower are from a Studio Stamps set, and the word is from an Art Journey set. I used Distress Inks to watercolour the images.

I'm linking my card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme is 'Anything Goes'.
