Autumn Colours with AJJ

 Hello All.

This week we have been having a wonderful time walking the coastal paths and watching the crashing waves on the North Devon coast. We really needed to get away, and it's been not exactly relaxing, but very refreshing. I adore being by the sea.

Our main reason for coming here was to visit the beautiful Ashbarton Estate that our daughter and fiance have booked for their wedding weekend in June 2026, so we had their company for a couple of days. The venue didn't disappoint you'll be pleased to hear. It's going to be perfect for the colourful festival wedding they are planning.

So, back to the real reason for this post. I have another page to share for my Autumn colours and inspiration theme at Art Journal Journey.

More teabags! I just love them! And I love toadstool spotting too, and have seen a few on my walks this week.

Junk Journal July Days 11 and 12

 Hello All.

28 Hearts - Week One

 Hello All.

This time of year it's so hard to get motivated, but I'm getting there, and I decided to join in with Marie-Josee Brillon's 28 Hearts February challenge on Instagram.

Here are my first week's hearts.

Day 1 - Cut from a gelliprint. I used my hand-carved heart stamps on the gelliplate.

Day 2 - Gelliprinted.

Day 3 - hearts painted with ink, then I cut one out and collaged onto a teabag.

Day 4 - Layered hearts cut from gelliprints.

Day 5 - Watercolour.

Day 6 - Watercolour.

Day 7 - strips of home-made washi tape applied to cardstock, then a heart cut out by hand.

ICAD 2023 - Week One

 Hello Everyone.

It's time for Tammy aka Daisy Yellow Art's ICAD challenge again. An index card a day for the months of June and July.

Here's my cover ICAD.

This year I thought I'd try and follow the prompts. Here are my Week One cards and the prompts.

AJJ - Flowers

 Hello friends.

Here's another junk journal page for Aimeslee's Flower theme on Art Journal Journey.

I started with some collage fodder, added some paint, some stencilled paste, a bit of stamping with one of my hand-carved stamps, a watercolour and doodled flower, some corrugated card and a sentiment. I used my Dymo for the word 'CENTRES' as I wanted the English spelling.

365 Somethings - 80-86

 Hello Friends.

Before I share my Somethings, I must let you know that unfortunately I have had to add comment moderation again. This is due to a sudden high number of spam comments I have received lately. I shall publish your comments as soon as I have received and spotted notification of them.

Now, here are my mini collages for this last week, for Daisy Yellow Art's 365 Somethings challenge. I've made a couple of sets, a set of 3 and a set of 4, as you will probably spot. I must say, I really enjoyed working in sets like this.
