I have a final page to share for my Come Fly With Me theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thank you so much to everyone who has joined in with the challenge with such wonderful art! It's been great to host the challenge this month, thanks to the AJJ team for inviting me back.
This was actually one of my ICADs that I decided to turn into a junk journal page. I painted the lavender with watercolour, added butterflies and bees cut from a magazine.
To make my page I glued the index card to a dictionary page, then added the bee facts that were cut from the magazine. If you look carefully at the edges of the dictionary page (top left & right), you'll spot that I used the page with the butterfly defination on it.

Really pretty page Alison, I can almost smell that lovely lavender, pure nectar for the Butterflies and Bee's. So sorry I missed your hosting skills during July @ AJJ. Been a hard month with care duties my end and both creativity & online time has been no existent. Fingers crossed for better next month.

I am always in awe of your art, whether it is abstract, grunge, teabag inspired, or using collage fodder. You are such a skilled artist and I love studying your art to learn from you. Thank you again for hosting in July, I only wish I had been able to join in more often. Be prepared to be asked back next year, too, Alison.
