Hello All.
Here is my latest journal page for Gratitude Junk Journal. It was a wonderful class with Shawn Petite, with layers of collage and paint. It took me two days to complete!
The butterflies give my page a summery feel, so I'm linking it to Chris' All Kinds Of Weather theme at Art Journal Journey.
And I'm also linking my page to Leah's Art Every Day Month challenge Day 8.
I'm out with my walking group tomorrow morning, then getting my 3rd vaccination in the afternoon, but I'll try to fit in some art time somewhere during the day.

ReplyDeleteYour Journal is beautiful. Love toe softness of it. Love the butterflies too. Some fly rather late in the season so nothing wrong adding them in fall settings.

ReplyDeleteI can believe it took you 2 days! I follow Shawn and her work is always time-intensive. THIS is messy I like! {grin} Gorgeous and I can tell that you totally received her inspiration and made it your own. I need a walking group but they would have to carry a whip and use it on me "Faster! Longer!" Hahaha Good luck with your 3rd jab, hope your recovery is swift, remember to rest and not overdo. XOX
ReplyDeleteI got all confused with Day 8 when everyone else seemed to be on Day 7. I hope to be straight soon. I think this is a real beauty. I see more than one season in the journal page, and I see a bit of time, too. Love all the layers you created. This turned out great. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Chris's theme, too.

I really LOVE this journal page! Everything on it blends together so well. I can see summer but I also see summer turning to fall. What a fabulous job you did with this page.
