Happy Boxing/St. Stephen's Day Everyone!
This morning I got up early (6.15!), and whilst the memories were still fresh (not easy when you have menopause brain!), I created another art journal spread for Elizabeth's 'Tis The Season Challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I have exactly the right amount of double pages left for the remainder of December, so I'm going to try and post every day.
Here's a closer look at the textures, including book page and painty scraps, teabags and sparkly mesh fabric...
Thanks for dropping by,
Alison xox
I really love how artsy your Christmas memory spread is with all the texture! GREAT! Oh you think there is a special menopause brain?!
ReplyDeleteThen maybe what I run through just now with my brain is maybe normal?! Good to know!
Happy St.Stephen's Day evening dear Alison!
Thank you for yet another fab entry for Elizabeth's collection! I look forward to the spreads on the remaining pages now!

I adore your Christmas memory, dear. It is beautiful and a truly fitting way to remember the day, too. Of particular note, is how you used texture to add interest to the pages and how you added the pops of color to each side. Thank you SO much for sharing these pages with us using my theme at Art Journal Journey. Hope you are enjoying your Boxing day, too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful journal pages, love the texture. Have fun, hugs, Valerie
