Hello everyone! I have an art journal page to share with you today, for Yvonne's Words & Numbers theme at Art Journal Journey.
I used some collage materials I had lying on my desk, including part of a Christmas cracker that my friend Jan gave me. After adding some white gesso, stencilling and stamping of dots, I wrote a quote from a beautiful book that my son gave me for Christmas, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy. The pen and ink illustrations, and the words on love, friendship and kindness are simply stunning.
Love & Blessings,
Alison xox

What an absolutely STUNNING and beautiful journal page, Alison. I love how you used the Christmas cracker, something we don't get here in the states. I also like the background. BUT, that quote is the best of the best. Thanks for sharing this amazing and thoughtful journal page with us using Yvonne's theme at Art Journal Journey. I love everything about this page, dear.

ReplyDeleteA fabulous artsy page with a really beautiful quote - sounds like a wonderful book. I'm still in Christmas hibernation (don't come out fully until after 12th Night on 6th January!), but am trying to do a bit of catching up with people even so. Happy New Year!
