Morning Everyone!
Here's a page that I created a couple of days ago, for my Geometric Shapes theme at Art Journal Journey.
I used some scraps I found whilst having a tidy. The thistle is a Crafty Individuals stamp that I'd clear embossed some time ago and not used, and the square piece is a fabric transfer. I can't remember where that image came from. I finished with some paint pen marks and doodles.
I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning, but the sun is shining so I don't think the snow will hang around for long. Hope not, as I have some girlfriends coming over tonight for wine, nibbles and a catch up!
Have a lovely day,
Alison xox
Gorgeous page, I have that pretty thistle stamp, too. It's all white here, too, but no sun!Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot. I thought at first it was sewing, but then saw it was white boxes with X's. Love that. Thanks for a fun challenge this month! Have fun with the girls.
ReplyDeleteA great page, you used some super pieces, the fabric transfer look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you challenging me with this month at AJJ.

Wow - you used some spectacular pieces and collaged them to a masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteGreat page Alison! Hope you enjoy your girls evening right now!
Big hugs, Susi
Oh my if i'd have had my crafting head on this month I could have so easily put a page or two together with all the scraps I have lying around at the moment. Love this Kraft page Alison, great use of those bits and bobs.
ReplyDeleteNot much snow here to shout about but later this evening I believe we may see a wee flurry.
Hope you had fun with the girls? Hugs Tracey xx
This is beautiful. I love this journal page that you've created. It inspires me to want to try creating another one before the challenge ends today.
ReplyDeleteLovely collaging and doodling over the kraft background - there have been so many great entries for your theme this month... you must be very happy.

don´t these leftover scraps have the best outcome in collages? your page looks super!! great doodling.
ReplyDeleteyou were a great hostess with a wonderful theme, alison - thank you so much ♥
This is wonderful Alison - your doodles always look brilliant!! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Alison. Your scraps are SO much better than mine. I love this page with the doodles and the fun use of your geometric theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteLove this Ali. Some times I think it is more fun to use scraps than cut into a new piece of paper or fabric. We still have a scattering of snow around. Most of it has melted. Very pretty this morning though.
