Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a page for Gill's challenge on Art Journal Journey, that was inspired by some Dina Wakley style art that I saw on Pinterest.
I'm still working in my gelli-print journal. On this page, I added a few marks with PaperArtsy Fresco acrylic paint, a Dina Wakley stamp, chunky Lego, plastic cross-stitch aida and a tube, then I adhered teabags, a Dina Wakley stamped image, lace, ball chain and quote. I finished with a scribbled border.
Fab page, great colours and a wonderful quote! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteFabulous layers and textures - love the background and quote - this is really awesome Alison.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to AJJ again.
Hope you a fun day crocheting and watching tv - would that be the Christmas crafting thats been on a certain channel I wonder :)
Hot and sunny here with a breeze and glad of that to cool it down a little. The other night it was so warm that it set the smoke detector off..argh!

I’ve been complaining about my gimpy keyboard for awhile, but my mouse has always worked great. That is, until today. I had to buy a new mouse just so I could maneuver between blogs. That’s why I’m really late visiting.
ReplyDeleteThis latest journal page is stunning. Any time you use tea bags, I sit up and take notes. You have the best ideas when it comes to them and I simply adore what you created for us at Art Journal Journey. It's another great project.
I LOVE that ball chain crown, so creative Alison. It certainly would give those Historians something to talk about hee hee!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous and i'm yet to try that Tea!
