Autumn Colours with AJJ

 Hello All.

This week we have been having a wonderful time walking the coastal paths and watching the crashing waves on the North Devon coast. We really needed to get away, and it's been not exactly relaxing, but very refreshing. I adore being by the sea.

Our main reason for coming here was to visit the beautiful Ashbarton Estate that our daughter and fiance have booked for their wedding weekend in June 2026, so we had their company for a couple of days. The venue didn't disappoint you'll be pleased to hear. It's going to be perfect for the colourful festival wedding they are planning.

So, back to the real reason for this post. I have another page to share for my Autumn colours and inspiration theme at Art Journal Journey.

More teabags! I just love them! And I love toadstool spotting too, and have seen a few on my walks this week.

Thanks so much for visiting me today.

Alison

  1. How wonderful to visit North Devon and I'm pleased that you have found the perfect venue for your daughter's wedding 😊. Loving your autumnal page, the textures and colours are so rich and I love how you used the teabags too. The little toadstools are fabulous and the addition of the amazing wording finishes it so beautifully ❤️. Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x

  3. That red is so rich and the background reminds me of a beautiful rug. Those teabags really color well. And I love the whimsical mushrooms too. Have a great weekend, and I'm glad you had a great time away. And even better that the wedding details are coming along and you're happy with them. hugs-Erika

  4. Love how you incorporated the bags, the edges look like you sewed the page and they took the paint perfectly. Cute lil shrooms too. Wow, you went from east coast to west! Are the beaches better on that side? Glad you are having fun, xoxo
