Hello All.
Here's my page for Elle/Empire of the Cat's day 14 prompt of Mountains.
I went mad ripping up gelli prints to create my mountain scenery 😁
My love of hiking started in my late teens, when a colleague from my first job organised weekend hikes for a group of us. Those were fun days. I remember struggling to stay upright on the top of a 'mountain' near Sheffield one time!
I'm linking my page to Chris' When We Were Young theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for the visit, and all the lovely comments you've been leaving!
Alison

ReplyDeleteIt must have felt great to rip those gelli prints apart. I do love those mountains. I Like the music print too. I can picture birds singing as you hike. Thanks for sharing this page for Chris’ challenge at AJJ. Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteAnother fun memory! We lived in Lincolnshire - mostly good flat country for cycling. Thanks for linking to my AJJ theme, hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to use gelli prints. I like how the prints look like mountains and a great scene below. I also love the music background, too. This is a stunning entry and great for Chris's theme at Art Journal Journey, Alison.
ReplyDeleteI started hiking in my last twenties and never looked back. This is one of my favourites, Alison! Absolutely amazing! Oh and love the music notes.

Oh WOW!...I LOVE your mountains, Alison!!! Where are they?...I want to plan a vacation there. Real mountains of course are beautiful, but your mountains are so much more inviting to adventure on.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun ripping the gelli print papers to create those mountains 😊. We always enjoyed fell walking on holidays when I was a kid, such fun! Happy wishes! Hugs Jo x
